Even if 2021 turned out differently than we first expected, we know the importance of celebrating the wins. Here’s a look back at some of our favorites from 2021.
GROWTH: Grew our company by increasing the size of our team by over 30% from 2020!
COMMUNITY: Participated in 6 podcasts and 3 large virtual conferences including, the Women in Cloud Summit, Women Who Code CONNECT REIMAGINE and the Women Future Conference.
APPRECIATION: Shared #kudos messages to 184 people in the Lions & Tigers community on Slack, and we launched the Lions & Tigers Awards to recognize our consultants, clients and supporters who embody our core values.
RECOGNITION: Won the 2021 Microsoft MSP Prestige Award for Diverse-Owned Supplier of the Year, selected as one of Washington’s 100 Best Workplaces of 2021 and #12 in the Small Company category by Puget Sound Business Journal, was 1 of 4 finalists for GeekWire’s Workplace of the Year and won the LWHRA Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, & Access (IDEA) to Action award.
CONVERSATION: Engaged in an honest, vulnerable, and future-looking conversation about the power of equitable workplaces for all of our caretakers with Heather Doran, Chief of Staff at Microsoft and mission-driven leader and Author Amy Henderson.
LEARNING: Hosted workshops and trainings on mental health, communication, anti-racism and allyship, bias and privilege, anti-discrimination and gender identity and terminology.
WELLNESS: Launched the first Wellness Week for our Lions & Tigers community where we hosted 4 teachers who shared knowledge on topics ranging from yoga and meditation to setting healthy boundaries and the power of mindset.
INCLUSION: Created a DEI Program Operations team to work across functional teams to build, scale, and oversee DEI initiatives to drive an inclusive and equitable culture at L&T and a DEI Council to serve as an advisory council for the L&T Leadership team.
GIVING BACK: We increased our Lions & Tigers giving by 505% from 2020 to 2021.

FUN: Gathered at the end of the summer for an in-person company picnic and celebrated the holidays with a virtual cookie decorating party!
