This week Lions & Tigers brought together women leaders from Weekdays, Mother Honestly and Startup Parent for a live conversation about our shared mission to design a world where flexibility, employee care and community and accessibility to child care are standards in the workplace.
School is back in session, parents are in flux and the impact to women’s equity in the workforce and the economy will be staggering if we don’t act on solutions that are inherent and lasting. Closing this gap is critical for parents, mothers, in particular, who are leaving by forced choice.
Brea Starmer, along with Shauna Causey, Blessing Adesiyan and Sarah Peck, talked about the power we have to change the path forward and reinvent the way we work to create lasting impact.
Collectively, these women are leading a wave of innovation to empower employers to engage their people teams and drive their business priorities forward in new and flexible ways, rethinking working models, infrastructure and community, enabling people to support their families and grow their careers because parenthood and work can no longer be a trade-off discussion.
