In a year of unimaginable change, hardship, and loss, we also want to celebrate impact and highlight all of the good. Here is a look at the 2020 Lions & Tigers’ Top 10.

  1. GROWTH: Grew our company by increasing the number of people paid by 44% from 2019 and grew our families by adding 3 new babies and 5 new pets this year!
  2. COMMUNITY: Participated in 9 podcasts and online interviews about the future of work and hosted 2 virtual events promoting valuable discussions on reinventing work and championing your impact.
  3. APPRECIATION: Created a #Kudos channel on Slack to express appreciation for the accomplishments and hard work of team members and launched a “Consultant Delight” program focused on consultant appreciation and recognition including shipping company swag, sweet treats, and seasonal surprises direct to consultants’ homes.
  4. RECOGNITION: Received Women-Owned Business Certification from Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), selected as one of Washington’s 95 Best Workplaces of 2020 and #15 in the Small Company category by Puget Sound Business Journal, and Brea was featured as Geekwire’s Geek of the Week.
  5. LISTENING: Facilitated internal community conversations and workshops to promote learning and healthy dialogue surrounding race, equity, the pandemic, the election and mental health.
  6. TEACHING: Published Thought Leadership pieces and blog posts on topics ranging from Appreciation, Courage, Feedback, Authenticity, Listening and Building Intentional Community.
  7. LEARNING: Created “Show & Tell” to share best practices and highlight Consultant work and “Ask Me Anything” sessions.
  8. WELLNESS: Hired our first role dedicated to People Care and Development building on the traditional responsibility of HR to include overall community health and wellness.
  9. INCLUSION: With the support of two local DEI consultants, launched internal Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts including a holistic audit of internal processes, documentation, and procedure resulting in a 2021 Action Plan.
  10. FUN: Experienced countless laughs from frozen screens on Teams meetings.

As we close out the year, we want to thank our team members, clients, and supporters for welcoming us into your community and choosing to be a part of ours.
