Last week we teamed up with Women Who Code for their CONNECT REIMAGINE virtual conference. At this full developer conference with technical talks from industry leaders, experts, and peers, guests were able to discover new ways to connect with companies and their community. Technical tracks included topics like blockchain, mobile, web, cloud, data science, security, AI, and ML delivered through talks, workshops, and demos. This inclusive developer conference provided a way to get actionable advice, share best practices, and meet people who believe that tech is better with women in it.
The final keynote of the conference, was a panel featuring our founder Brea Starmer, CEO & Co-founder of Women Who Code Alaina Percival, Director of People & Inclusion at Women Who Code Samaria Rooks and CTO at Better.com Diane Yu. This power panel discussed reimagining work exploring the key causes of women leaving the workforce in historic numbers and the power in building an inclusive workforce that changes the way we define work.
Women Who Code is an international nonprofit dedicated to inspiring women to excel in technology careers. All the conference keynotes, panels, and sessions will be on their WWCode YouTube page two weeks after the conference for you to view your favorites again, and catch any you might’ve missed.
