What is your official job title?
Vice President, People Experience
Is this a part-time/fractional role? Or full time?
Part-Time/Fractional
Tell us a little bit about what you did as a consultant and the path that led to a transition into the VP role.
As an HR Consultant, I conducted a comprehensive assessment of L&T’s business and people strategy, internal operations, and HR processes to identify areas of strength and opportunities for improvement. My work focused on streamlining tools and systems, supporting total compensation strategies and communication, enhancing employee relations, and implementing performance management improvements.
Additionally, I led L&T’s fall community survey, ensuring employee feedback directly informed our HR initiatives.
Prior to L&T, I helped build and scale the HR function as VP of People Operations for a nationwide consulting firm, where I developed best practices in HR strategy, leadership development, and operational efficiency. It was exciting to bring those experiences to L&T – applying lessons learned to help strengthen its people strategy and elevate its culture and processes.
What attracted you to L&T?
I genuinely believe in L&T’s mission, values, and energy. During my six months as an HR consultant, I got to experience firsthand the special, inclusive, and empowered community that L&T has built. It is a unique place where people can authentically operate at their Highest and Best Use™.
What really stood out to me was the leadership and Talent Advocacy team’s commitment to continuous improvement. They appreciated recognition for what was working but were even more eager to hear how things could be even better. That openness and growth mindset are rare and inspiring.
I wasn’t actively looking for a part-time role, but I fell in love with the company and the people. The opportunity to help shape L&T’s bright future was one I couldn’t pass up.
What do you see “ahead” for L&T’s People Experience?
At L&T, we are committed to continuously elevating our people experience. This year and next, we’re focused on deepening employee engagement, refining our internal processes and tools, and strengthening our culture of learning and growth.
We’re enhancing onboarding to set new hires up for success from day one, investing in streamlined and robust tools that allow our consultants to focus more on client impact, and creating a more seamless, connected experience across the organization.
Our goal is to ensure that every team member feels valued, supported, and inspired to do their best work – both now and in the future. Exciting things are ahead, and we can’t wait to share more along the way!
