Consultant Spotlight

WHY LIONS+TIGERS

I am drawn to the values, mission, community, opportunity, flexibility, and empowerment offered at Lions & Tigers. I have never been a part of a work community that I have felt so at home at – mainly because I feel I can bring my full self to work. There’s  nothing like living in that perfect intersection of interests, values, passions, unique skills, giftings, personal purpose, and work/life balance.

BENEFIT OF FLEXIBLE, HIGH IMPACT WORK

As a mother of two young children, I wanted my work to fit my life- not the other way around. I recall being a junior professional starting my career as a traditional FTE and looking around for female role models I could look up to who really embodied that balance between thriving career and home life. I could not find anyone. As a psychologist, I highly value the role of a mother in children’s lives. Lions & Tigers has empowered me to have this beautiful life where I can do impactful and fulfilling work I love while being an integral part of my kids’ life. I sincerely believe I would never get this through a traditional 9-5 job.

ABOUT DR. RENEE ST. JACQUES

I began my career in technology marketing and product management. While prospering in my work, I knew that something was missing. I recognized that I had to be strategic and proactive about my career path and maximizing my own potential, so I made the courageous leap to pursue my doctorate in Psychology. To stay in Corporate America would be to only pursue half of who I was in my skills and interests. The doctorate would equip me with the expertise to truly help people in the way I knew best and provide the fulfillment I longed for.

Now a licensed psychologist, I delight in bringing my holistic self to meet my clients’ individual needs- whether in psychology or business, or a blend of the two.  My corporate experience gives me the senior-level perspective to understand the business issues that my clients face daily, while my extensive doctoral training in psychology offers me the intuition and expertise to help support my clients’ workplace relational and emotional intelligence needs.
